About Conservations Districts Funding.
We are mandated by the federal government to operate, and only receive $40,000.00 per year from the state for staff and operations.
The state is talking about cutting this to $26,000.00 in the next fiscal year!
That will cut our staffing, but not our spirit!
You can help by reaching out to our state officials and let them know you support our work, and they should support us too! Most states fund their districts. We do good work!
Thank You for your support!
