Coreopsis tripteris (Tall Coreopsis) Tall Tickseed

If you're looking for a low-maintenance, drought-tolerant, long-blooming flower to fill a bed, create a homemade floral bouquet, line a border or fence line.

The showy, daisy-like flowers don't have much of a scent,

but the foliage has an anise-like smell.

They are native to North America, growing in upright clumps.

Reaching heights of 7' and in some cases up to 9'.  

Can be aggressive and may not be suitable for small landscape plantings.
