Annual 4th Grade Agriculture Day/Farm Tour is back!!
Open to all 4th grade students from the area.
All schools, private, parochial and public schools.


Location:  Midland Antique Engine Club
 3226 S. Meridian Rd. Merrill, MI. 48637 

Registration for the event is closed now.
​We have 11 schools coming, 29 classes and 688 Students signed up!

Join us for Dinner, Vote for new board members and enjoy the evening at the barn.
We will also be doing our budget approval for FY24.
Public is welcome!

Join us to learn about Forest Health and Invasive Pests.
Guest speaker- Cheryl Nelson from MI-DNR will give a presentation on forest health and the invasive pests that are endangering our environment.
Learn about
MAEAP- MI Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program 
FAP- Michigan Forestry Assistance Program provides technical assistance to private forestland owners. 
QFP- Michigan's Qualified Forest Program. encourage landowners to actively manage their privately owned forests.
and FMP programs. NRCS provides financial assistance for forest management plans through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP). Assistance is provided for plans developed by certified Technical Service Providers. 
Pest Management and
CSP - Conservation Stewardship Program, a voluntary program offered to private landowners. It enhances the conservation practices on their property, increasing efficiency and productivity.

Educational Tunnels

The District owns and operates two interpretive educational tunnels that demonstrate environmental principles on soil health and water health. These tunnels are an immersive educational tool for students, are mobile and are available to rent from the District by interested persons and organizations for educational events.
