The District sponsors and participates in various educational programs throughout the county, such as the Annual 4th Grade Farm Tour, and the Coleman Agriscience program. The District works with institutions and organizations such as Northwood University Students for Sustainability, and the Chippewa Nature Center Celebrate Earth Day.

The District can host educational workshops and events for the public and partner with like minded organizations to bring information to the community.
District employees are available to speak at group meetings and events on a variety of topics, including Trees 101 (why, when, where, what and how to plant trees) and Back yard Conservation, Feral Swine Control, Hunting Information on chronic wasting, baiting, food plots, and any conservation practice.

The District owns and operates two interpretive educational tunnels that demonstrate environmental principles on soil health and water health. These tunnels are an immersive educational tool for students, are mobile and are available to rent from the District by interested persons and organizations for educational events.
