Our Tree Sale - celebrating 71 years

Every year, the Midland Conservation District supplies affordable trees and shrubs to Midland County residents through its
Annual Reforestation Tree Sale.
Orders can be placed as early as January 15th by mail or online, and trees are picked up after April 19, at the District's  Barn, located at 814 East Olson Road, Midland.
The District offers a variety of native trees and shrub species that are compatible with USDA conservation practices.
Orders are on a first come, first serve basis with earlier orders receiving the widest selection of options.
In 2018, the District added wildflower seed mixes to the Tree Sale.

why Plant Trees?

There are many reasons to invest in the planting of native plants. We encourage county residents to consider planting trees on their properties for any of the following reasons and needs:
  • Forest and land management
  • Increase wildlife and pollinator habitat
  •  Fence lines for designating property boundaries
  • Windbreaks and shelter belts against wind induced erosion
